Aaron J. Trumm grew up in Taos, NM, surrounded by art and music. His father played guitar and trombone, exposing him to country and western swing. He began performing at age 13 and was once the 10th ranked slam poet. He has a Master’s degree in “Music, Science and Technology” from Stanford University. He built the independent label NQuit Music. Aaron sings, raps, plays piano, produces, mixes, and writes. He is a regular contributor to Recording Magazine and the Carvin Audio Blog. He opened for artists such as Ani Difranco and Sage Francis and recorded with musicians from Thomas Mapfumo’s band.

Ron Newman is a pianist and composer. His work includes film scores for PBS and KUSM TV, including "I'll Ride That Horse" which was nominated for a Regional Emmy and won the Gold Award at the Houston International Film Festival. A song of his, "The River," inspired a Yellowstone Park benefit album produced in Nashville. He played keyboards for The Great Northern Band, opening for Willie Nelson and Terri Clark. He has released two CDs: Animal Dreams and The Art of Melody: Christmas. Ron has performed in various jazz, pop, and classical contexts, including as a concerto soloist and in a rock band tour of South Korea and Okinawa. He was also an improvising accompanist for The Spontaneous Combustibles comedy improv company.
